How can I check my e-mail using a web browser?
|
|
NOTE: Webmail is designed to allow you to send and receive mail using a web browser when you are away from your computer. This only applies to users who have a POP3 account setup, or are forwarding and keeping copies of mail on their local account.
You will only receive messages on Webmail if the mail program on your computer is NOT open and checking mail. When you return to your computer and open your mail program, the messages received on Webmail will download to your computer and will no longer be available on the Webmail system. If you want a copy of the messages you sent while using Webmail, .cc yourself when sending out a message from the Webmail system.
Consult the "Help" link for further detailed instructions.

To view the messages in your Inbox, click on "Inbox" either in the lefthand panel, or on the right side of the large panel under "Unread Messages" to review your messages. (NOTE: If your email program is running on your computer and checking the account you logged into, you will not see any messages in your Inbox). |

6.Three panels appear when you select Inbox from your Today Page. The first panel on the left helps you navigate through your email folders and back to your "My Today Page". The second panel shows a subject line/sender list of email currently in your Inbox. NOTE: No email will appear here if your local computer is running your email program. Select the subject line for the email you wish to read and the email contents along with options for your reply, reply all, forward, or print will appear in the right panel. You can select all emails, or only selected emails to delete, move, or mark by checking the check box next to the subject line. For more information on this screen, select Help on the top righthand corner of this window.
